Transfer Pricing is about structuring of transactions of a MNC in a manner that its global tax cost is minimized. Our aim of this workshop is to share information and knowledge on Transfer Pricing related issues.
As transfer pricing documentation becomes more complex and extensive across jurisdictions, corporates are beginning to see the benefits of having a central transfer pricing policy as a blueprint for the various operations and as a mechanism for better aligning transfer pricing positions across business units. Transfer pricing is at the very top of the tax agenda and internal tax departments are battling to stay on top of their documentation requirements. Some have instituted documentation processes to help fulfil their regulatory requirements. However many internal tax departments face resistance from other operational departments when it comes to implementing transfer pricing changes consequent to a documentation exercise. This creates the danger that transfer pricing documentation may not always accurately represent the substance of transactions. This is where a central Transfer pricing policy can be of benefit, in particular helping to focus the wider business on transfer pricing.
Attend to understand how to win in the present global Transfer Pricing environment.
During this workshop we´ll provide you with a brief overview of the proposed new Tax Code, issues related main provisions of the new transfer pricing rules, and current customs issues and trends in the customs legislation which includes:
• Brief outline of transfer pricing • Definition of the transfer price and related parties • Transactions subject to transfer pricing regulations • Methods for determining market price • Sources of information used for market price determination • Compliance and documentation requirements • Agreements on transfer pricing application • Transfer pricing adjustments • Practical issues will be adressed on the TP policy
